Popular British singer Adele (Adele Laurie Blue Adkins) partially lost the ability to hear with one ear due to a bacterial infection. The singer told The Sun portal about this.
“I have an ear infection and it’s pretty terrible, I’ve had this before. This is the most painful thing that has ever happened to me: it hurts more than childbirth. This is a rare waterborne bacteria that is very difficult to get rid of. I had been taking the wrong antibiotics for days and the doctors finally gave me the ones that worked. There were times when I just wanted to cut off my ear. “I’m no longer in pain, which is great, but I’m a little deaf in my left ear.” – said the artist.
According to the publication, Adele contracted the infection during her stay in Munich (Germany).
The singer also noted that she does not yet plan to record or release new songs.
