A serious fire broke out on the territory of a plastics plant in the Tula region, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region reported.
“Firefighters of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations are extinguishing a large fire in the Tula region. A report was received about a fire in a workshop under construction at the address: Uzlovaya town, Tulskaya street. Fire and rescue units immediately rushed to the scene of the incident.” – the message said.
The fire currently covers an area of over 1,000 square metres. The reasons for the emergency are still unknown. 30 rescuers are working on the site and eight teams are using them.
There have been no reports of casualties yet.
