Some time ago, a seven-month pregnant woman, who was hospitalized in the emergency department of the Clinical Medical Center (KTM) in the Aghstafa region, gave birth to a baby due to a snake bite.

It was reported that on October 31, 2024, a woman who was brought from the Aghstafa region to the maternity department of the Ministry of Health was admitted to the gynecological pathology department with a history of complicated maternity.
From the day of her admission until November 6, the mother underwent the corresponding examinations and received hospital treatment.
On November 6, for the purposes of perinatal protection of the mother and fetus, according to medical instructions, the pregnancy was terminated by cesarean section.
A child (male) was born with a weight of 3 kg and a height of 51 cm.
At present, the conditions of the mother and baby are sufficient.
