A group of Azerbaijani NGO leaders and social activists held another protest today against pro-Armenian US Congressman Frank Peloni, who insulted the Azerbaijani people, in front of the hotel where he was staying.

It should be noted that last night a group of Azerbaijani civil society representatives issued a joint statement about having been subjected to violence and injured on the orders of the US congressman.
The statement points out that US Congressman Frank Peloni, an Islamophobe, Turkophobe, financial fraudster and corrupt, is a person who hates the people of Azerbaijan and all his activities are based on slander against Azerbaijan. He defends the interests of the Armenian lobby in the United States and has repeatedly disrespected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan: “We regret that the UN has invited such a person to COP29. We protest his visit to Azerbaijan. A peaceful protest in front of the hotel where he stayed. We have demanded an apology from the people of Azerbaijan. He is a patron of war criminals. During today’s ongoing peaceful action, NGO activists signed a petition to the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Azerbaijan to open a criminal case against Frank Peloni’s bodyguards.
Representatives of the NGO also demanded that legal measures be taken against Frank Peloni, a former illegal border violator many times during the occupation of Azerbaijan’s borders.
