Valencian public television broadcast live this Wednesday the first general policy debate of this legislature. The President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, opened the debate in the morning with a speech of more than three hours in which he defended his management against the eight years of the Botànic government. The president’s speech recorded 108,000 unique viewers with a 3.4% share, marking the golden minute of the morning block at 1:30 p.m. with a peak audience of 7.3% share.
In the afternoon, the first part, which started at 3:30 pm, achieved an audience share of 4.4% and a cumulative audience of 86,000 viewers. This part of the debate marks its golden minute at 3:33 pm with a share of 6.6%, coinciding with the first intervention of the opposition groups in the debate, notably that of the PSPV mediator in Les Corts, Jose Muñoz.
Finally, in the second block, from 5:20 p.m., in the complicated afternoon TV slot, 174,000 Valencians connected with At Punt to monitor the interventions of opposition party administrators.
For his part, in the band of CNT MigdiaWith 7.8% of screen share, À Punt has surpassed La1 and Cuatro and has become the fourth option for Valencian viewers behind A3, La Sexta and Tele5. The NTC Nit slot, with a share of 5.2%, maintains this position and is among the most watched television channels.
Prime time also benefited from viewer support. So, To the Saca and the Valencians in the worldwith 4.5% and 5.5% screen share respectively, this night slot is ahead of Cuatro and all the thematic channels.
