A record number of schools and kindergartens have been built in Kyrgyzstan over the past three years. This was stated by Prime Minister Akylbek Zhaparov at a meeting of the republic’s parliament, vesti.kz reports.
“As for educational institutions, in three years we have achieved a record level of construction. In 2022, 2023 and 2024, 320 educational establishments were built: 268 schools and 52 kindergartens. For comparison, in 1986, 43 schools were built, and last year, in 2023, 143 schools and 16 kindergartens were built. Until 2024, construction works are actively underway in 190 schools and 110 kindergartens. For the centenary [республики] “The construction of 113 schools, kindergartens and social facilities has been completed.” – said the Chief of Staff.
He added that in 2023, 10 hospitals and 32 clinics will be built.
