In the Luhansk People’s Republic, due to the devastating fires, a regional emergency situation (ES) regime has been introduced.

The report shows that the fires have affected seven districts in the region. The fight against the elements is made difficult by strong winds, with gusts reaching 30 metres per second.
The most difficult situation remains in the Antratsitovsky and Stanichno-Luhansk municipal districts. Fires were also reported in the Krasnodon, Sverdlovsk and Rovenki municipalities.
“Rescuers are working around the clock. Observation posts are still functioning. Migration service teams are working in the fire-affected districts. Employees are accepting documents and solving problems with social support.” – the statement says.
Recall that the third detachment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation from the Tula and Orel regions was sent to assist the rescuers in Luhansk. In total, 120 specialists and 23 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
