Next year they plan to open a representative office of the Primorye Territory of Russia for migration issues in Samarkand. This was reported by the Dunyo news agency.
According to the agency, an agreement on this was reached during a meeting between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Olimjon Abdullaev, and the governor of the Primorye Territory, Oleg Kozhemyako, who is in the republic on a working visit.
During the negotiations, Kozhemyako announced the interest of the Primorsky Territory in deepening cooperation with the regions of Uzbekistan.
The parties paid special attention to the issue of attracting migrant workers from the Republic of Uzbekistan. To systematize interaction in this area, it was decided to create a special department within the government of the Primorsky Territory, which will control the process of selection and employment of Uzbek citizens, the protection of their labor rights and adaptation to new conditions.
“Promising projects were discussed during the meeting, including the opening of a representative office of the Primorsky Territory for migration issues in Samarkand in 2025.” – says the message after the meeting.
As a result of the dialogue, agreements were reached aimed at facilitating migration policy in the Primorsky Territory of Russia.
