Tesla, known for its innovative solutions in the field of electric vehicles, has once again surprised the world. This time, the electric vehicle manufacturer has ordered a unique electric train, the Giga Train, which will run between the Erkner station on the territory of the Gigafactory plant in Berlin (Germany) and the new Tesla Süd station.

The main task of the “Giga Train” is reported to be to transport employees of the “Tesla” plant. It is expected to transport about 4,500 people to and from work per day. This will not only provide comfortable and environmentally friendly transportation for employees, but will also reduce the load on the plant’s parking lots and on local roads. The train has 120 seats and can carry up to 500 passengers in one trip.
The Giga Train is equipped with lithium-titanium oxide batteries manufactured by Toshiba, allowing it to travel up to 120 kilometres on electric power alone without the need for energy from electrified roads.
