A sick man is rescued by helicopter at the Domingo Sevilla lookout in Burgos

Another rescue is added to the list this Saturday, September 28. A 75 year old manwho was part of a group of 40 people, was found indisposed and required medical treatment at the Domingo Sevilla lookout, on the Three Waterfalls route, located in Santa Cruz del Valle Urbión, in the province of Burgos.

As reported by the operations room of the 112 of Castilla y León, the events occurred at 3:29 p.m. Upon receipt of the notice, they alerted the Emergency Coordination Center, which ordered the rescue.

A rescue helicopter was sent to the scene, with two rescuers on board, including a nurse. The Burgos firefighters were also present.

Once the helicopter was able to land and the man was immobilized, the victim was lifted onto the helicopter next to the nurse using a short double elevator with evacuation triangle.

Finally, the man was transferred and evacuated to a hospital center. This is the third rescue so far this Saturday in Castile and León.
