Doria Tillier today offers her version of this contemporary heroine that we have already seen many times on the small screen, either in the form of Zooey Deschanel (new girl), by Aisling Bea (up here) or, longer ago, by Calista Flockhart (Ally McBeal). In her incarnation as a young woman slightly out of sync with the world, Iris borrow from somewhere else flea bag and Phoebe Waller-Bridge for her gravity, which gives the series, in its best moments, an interesting depth.
