The court sentenced a resident of Sochi, who was preparing for a terrorist attack in the city, by eight years in prison. This was reported at the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Krasnodar Lands.
According to the case file, in January 2024, 57 years old Sergey Fedorov I met a representative of the Ukrainian terrorist organization. Russian fire was offered to set fire to the construction of the office of the Sochi Military Commander using homemade motifs. By following the instructions, the man made three devices and decided to verify their effectiveness. To do this, set fire to two suspended cars. On February 18, 2024, Fedorov took two similar devices with him and went to the office of the military commander, who was arrested near him.
“It was convicted by Part 2 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code (deliberate damage to others’ property with great damage to the citizen committed by intentional burning), Part 1 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code (Preparation of a terrorist law committee),”, – He said in a message from the supervisory authority.
