“The earthquake occurred in the Olkhon region, in the waters of Lake Baikal, 25 kilometres from the town of Buguldeyka,” the report said.
The intensity at the epicenter of the earthquake was 5.8 points. In Irkutsk, Olkhonsky, Slyudyansky, Ekirit-Bulagatsky and Bayandayevsky districts of the Angara region, the intensity of the earthquakes was 3-4 points.
“All infrastructure is functioning normally,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
