A strong wind caused damage in Zagatala and tore off the roof of a five-story apartment building.
According to APA, windy weather has prevailed in the northwest region since noon today.
A part of the roof of a five-story building on Vasif Gurbanov Street in the city of Zagatala was blown down by a strong wind. As a result of the wind, large trunks fell and branches broke in several areas of the region.
The electrical cables that passed through the area were broken, there were short circuits in several areas of the region. For this reason, there were power outages in some areas of the district center and in surrounding towns.
Since noon, relevant institutions and personnel from the Zagatala Electrical Distribution Network have been involved in the aforementioned areas and are working to correct the damage.
