A teacher who allegedly took bribes from his students to get a diploma was FIRED

The teacher, who allegedly accepted a bribe, was fired.

This was reported to Bakupost.az by the press service of Ganja State University (GSU).

It was reported that Gudrat Ilyas oglu Verdiyev, head of the Department of Student Registration and Work with State Model Documents of GSU, was relieved of his position on September 30, 2024 due to serious deficiencies in his work.

It should be noted that yesterday it was reported on social media that bribes were demanded from students to receive a diploma from GSU and videos were released in this regard. A teacher named Gudrat asked the students for 10 manats to hand out the diplomas.

As a reason he cited the payment of the fee. Even the student claims that 250 manat was raised to practice.
