An offer for the sale of the painting by Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890), “Clay Pot with Chrysanthemums,” appeared on the Russian portal of free classified ads. The seller clarifies that the painting was painted in the summer of 1886.
The owner added that the painting is now in Berlin and it would be great if someone was in Europe.
Documents confirming the authenticity of the work are promised to be provided upon request.
“The painting is valued at 30 million euros” – assures the seller.
The price of the masterpiece is 2 billion rubles. The seller is located in Saint Petersburg.
As reported EADailyIn August of this year, an offer for the sale of the painting was published on the Remote Commerce Center portal Claude Monet (1840-1926) “Wheat field” (Champ de ble).
The description of the lot specified that it was a genuine, original work of art from a private collection. It is stored in a closed warehouse in Moscow.
The initial price was 1,039 million rubles.
