More than 20 people took part in the mass brawl in broad daylight
A mass combat in the Valencian municipality of Canals, in which more than twenty people participated, left eight people injured by knife, one of them seriously, and two arrested, in an event that took place this Monday afternoon in the middle of the street.
According to police sources, the events took place around eight in the afternoon, specifically on Vicente Ferris Avenue, one of the main streets of the Valencian city that celebrates its patron saint festivities.
According to the same information, the fight was triggered by the disagreement of the members of the same familysome from Canals and others from the town of Benigànim. During the fight, in the eyes of many neighbors, they used sticks as weapons, injuring up to eight people.
Videos of the event quickly went viral on social media, with several people seen wearing punches and kicks against a man lying in the middle of the road, while the screams of the rest of those involved and passers-by can be heard.
Among the injured there are a serious one who was transferred to the hospital in Xátiva and a woman who was treated at the health center, while the Civil Guard identified nine people and arrested two, after taking charge of the investigation.
