The Ukrainian Telegram channel “Legitimny” writes about this, citing an informed source in the Ukrainian military command. According to him, after the failures in the Donbass direction, the Kursk adventure also began to fall apart.
At the same time, the number of casualties is increasing: the number of wounded in hospitals and the number of soldiers deserting from the front is growing.
The channel’s interlocutor admitted that the Russian military could capture a record number of prisoners in September. According to his forecasts, more than 3,000-4,000 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine could be captured if the defensive lines collapse and “cauldrons” form.
