A criminal case has been opened against the acting Deputy Prime Minister of Bashkiria, Alan Marzaev, suspected of accepting a bribe of 37 million rubles. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Commission today, September 30.
“The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case against the Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Alan Marzaev, under Part 6 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (receiving a bribe on an especially large scale), said the official representative of the Investigative Committee. Svetlana Petrenko. “According to the investigation, Marzaev received a bribe of 37 million rubles from the leaders of a road construction company for sponsoring his business activities and ensuring the conclusion of government contracts for the construction of roads.”
