Actor Hugh Jackman returns to music with concerts at Radio City in New York

Award-winning Australian actor and singer Hugh Jackman announced this Wednesday in a very special way his return to concerts, which will begin on January 24 and 25 at New York’s iconic Radio City Music Hall, where he will perform twelve concerts next year.

In this series of concerts under the name “From New York with love”will perform songs from his films as well as his musicals ‘The Boy from Oz’, which won him his first Tony Award (2004), ‘The Greatest Showman’ and ‘The Music Man’, which will continue on weekends -ends in April, May, June, July and They will end on August 16.

“This is my time”, says Jackman, who took to Instagram today with a fun video in which he shares with his friend, actor Ryan Reynolds, with whom he starred in the Marvel movie “Deadpool and Wolverine,” to announce his return in a concert hall.

Sitting on a couch in a living room, Jackman recalls the moment Reynolds announced his return as “Wolverine” in the superhero film two years ago. “Ryan and I had a great adventure and I wondered what would come next.”said Jackman, 55, also a producer, after which he asked Reynolds (who is then seen moving behind the couch) if he would like to attend his presentation at Radio City.

“Am I going to be there?” Reynolds asks. “Not on stage, but in my heart”says the actor, who lives in New York, who also plays the piano and guitar and who continues to joke with Ryan that he should buy his ticket without a discount. The “X-Men” actor does not hide his emotion and expressed it in another message on his networks: “Oh, what a beautiful day”, which he accompanied by a poster with the dates of his performances at Radio City, in which he is in the center of the photo with the legendary theater in the background.

Tickets are now on sale and the audience’s responses were immediate: “This is literally the best news I’ve ever received” or “I hope I get a ticket for April and I can’t wait to see you, the best man on the show” .
