The former mayor of Barcelona, Ada Colausaid goodbye this Saturday from her position as co-coordinator of Catalunya en Comú to the IV Assembly of the formation, in a speech in which she declared that the proposal of the Comuns must “reconnect” with citizens.
“Those who do not want to give up their privileges are those who want us powerless”Colau warned in his speech during the presentation of the management report, in which he said textually that the Comuns proposal must generate dreams and hopes that overcome impotence.
For Colau, the Commons must establish themselves as a space of hope in the face of the climate of anxiety which, according to her, generates an escalation of the war and the advance of the extreme right in the world, and to fight against “those who do not want to give up their privileges”.
