The President of the Valencian Government, Carlos Mazonrecognized this Monday that “preliminary meetings” for the presentation of regional budgets were organized with Vox with the aim of working “jointly” on the accounts.

This is the second approach that Carlos Mazón is taking with his former government partners. During last week’s plenary session, the popular group voted in favor of Vox’s proposal to carry out tests to determine the age of unaccompanied migrant minors (menas).
Mazón, in statements to the media this Monday, assured that these meetings with Vox took place and defended the desire of his executive to “dialogue with whoever is necessary.” The PP, which 40 deputiesneeds the support of at least one other parliamentary group to be able to advance regional budgets.
“We discuss, we work together,” he added. In this sense, he explained that the intention is to “talk to everyone” and criticized the fact that “some are not interested” in talking about the budgets of the Generalitat Valenciana for next year.
“We have taken the trouble to finalize them, we have hours left to finalize them, and above all, to give priority to the most important things, which are health policies, public education and care for the most vulnerable, social policies,” Mazon said.
The head of the Consell announced that his second accounts, the first of the minority government, will continue to focus on “reducing the tax pressure”, on promoting the policy of “freedom and coexistence” and on “a social effort “.

The party’s national leadership approved, after a meeting with regional parliamentary spokespersons, the framework document for regional budget negotiations with the PP.
Vox establishes three premises to sit down and negotiate the accounts. The first is the reversal of the Vox measures which were repealed or frozen after the departure of the coalition governments in July.
The second premise is the “explicit and clear” rejection of regional governments “of the policies of installation and distribution of illegal immigrants” of Pedro Sanchez.
