Advancing visitors to the rest area during reverse flow, Jasa Marga urges travelers to optimize rest time

Jasa Marga noted that as many as 685,079 units of homecoming vehicles returned to the Jabotabek area through four major toll doors.

The data accumulated from D -+1 to H+2 Eid Al -Fitr 1446 H from GT Cikampek Utama (Trans Java Direction), GT Kalihurip Utama and Functional GT Japek II Selatan (Directions Bandung), GT Cikupa (Merak Direction), and GT Ciawi (Peak).

“The total volume of traffic back to the Jabotabek area rose 32.4% compared to normal traffic (517,468 vehicles),” said the Corporate Communication & Community Development Group head of Jasa Marga, Lisye Octaviana in his statement, Friday (4/5/2025).

Lisye reported that most of the vehicles came from the East, especially Trans Java and Bandung. The figure, up to 343,427 vehicles or a percentage of 50.1% percent.

Meanwhile, the remaining 181,344 vehicles entered the west (Merak), and 160,308 vehicles from the south (Puncak).

According to Lisye, an increase in the most visible backflow in the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate, which recorded a 77.9% of normal traffic. Not only that, traffic from Bandung by GT Kalihurip Utama also increased by 50.6 %.
