On Monday, instability will persist in the north of the peninsula and in the Balearic Islands, with rainfall and a drop in minimum temperatures, while maximum temperatures will continue without major changes and a front coming from the northwest will approach that will affect Galicia.
According to the forecasts of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), there will be showers that will affect the eastern Cantabrian Sea, the Pyrenees and, accompanied by storms and locally strong, the Balearic Islands and the northeast of Catalonia, as well as the eastern coast of the peninsula with greater probability and intensity and accompanied by occasional storms up to Castellón. Some areas of the Balearic Islands will be placed under orange warning due to rain.
The approach of a northwest front will leave precipitation in the northwest of Galicia, although it cannot be ruled out that it will end up affecting other parts of the region and the western Cantabrian area. AEMET warns that the rains will be “abundant” in the north and anticipates, as the weekend approaches, “a sharp thermal drop and even night frosts in some parts of the interior.”

Wind with a certain interval of strong and light variable.
–CASTILE AND LEON: in the north and east, cloudy passages, not excluding some light and scattered rains. In the rest, slightly cloudy predominance, with intervals of high clouds. Morning mists and fog banks. Decrease in minimum and maximum values with slight changes. Westerly winds, generally weak.
– NAVARRE: cloudy passages tending to cloudy, without excluding light rain and showers sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms. Probable mist and some fog banks. Decrease in minimum temperatures, generally light; maximums slightly descending or without significant changes. Light wind.
– RIOJA: cloudy periods, with evolving cloudiness and morning mists and fogs on the Iberian Peninsula. Minimum temperatures slightly decreasing and maximum temperatures slightly changing. Variable or northwesterly winds, generally weak.
