The alert launched by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) in the province of Malaga it reaches red level. This has just been communicated by the entity on its website, in which it warns of accumulated precipitation of up to 120 liters per square meter over a period of 12 hours in the regions of Sol and Guadalhorce and Axarquía. The maximum risk of rain which can be torrential will remain active between 10:00 a.m. this Wednesday and 11:59 p.m.
Likewise, precipitation of up to 50 liters in one hour between 03:00 this morning and 23:59 in the easternmost part of Sol and Guadalhorce. The same amount of water is expected in Axarquía, although between 4:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m.
In the case of Antequera regionAemet maintains the orange level, with rainfall of up to 40 liters per square meter between 4:00 this morning and Wednesday evening. In a 12 hour interval, up to 100 liters per square meter is expected.
The area where the the emergency level is lower in Rondawhere the level is yellow, with up to 20 liters per square meter in one hour and 60 liters accumulated in 12 hours.
