From Wednesday 13 to Thursday 14 November 2024, in the early morning, there will be intense rainfall in the south of the province of Córdoba, more precisely in the region Subbetic. The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has extended the yellow warning for this area in anticipation of heavy rain.
This is indicated in the forecasts of the Aémetwhich maintains the yellow warning until 8 a.m. Thursday. All night and especially early morning could be marked by heavy rain, which would become more intense from ten o’clock in the evening.
Accumulated precipitation is expected to be approximately 50 liters per square meter within twelve hours, with particular force from shortly before midnight until 2 a.m. From there, the chance of rain would decrease and precipitation would decrease.
Between five and six in the morning, the precipitation will tend to lessen and the tomorrow Thursday would be calmer, but not for long: the water would return in the afternoon, with less intensity, but with a probability of thunderstorms.
This is the only area in the province of Córdoba, including the capital, in which the yellow warning, in force from the early hours of the day, remains in force, but disappeared when the precipitation decreased on Wednesday around one o’clock in the afternoon.
Renfe also maintains the suspension of trains AVE and Before which connect Malaga to other points in Spain, notably Madrid, and which pass through Córdoba. The time when they will resume has not yet been communicated.
