After 32 years, the sounds of a wedding were heard for the first time in the city of Lachin.
The last wedding took place here in 1992, a few days before the occupation.
Bey Niyazi Mammadov shared his impressions with Baku TV: “It never occurred to me that one day I would be lucky enough to have a wedding in my homeland, the first wedding in our city.”
The groom’s father, Zohrab Mammadov, said: “We are in our beautiful Lachin. Today is my eldest son’s wedding. Thank God for this day! We never thought that we would come to Lachin and have a wedding. It was something we saw in our dreams.”
