In the village of Malaya Topolevka, Saratov region, a private house and outbuildings burned down as a result of a fire in dry grass, the press service of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry for the region reported.
“In the Engels region, dry vegetation caught fire. The fire spread from the grass to the outskirts of the village of Malaya Topolevka. There was a risk that the fire would spread to 11 private houses along three streets of the village. As a result of the fire, one private house and outbuildings were damaged.” – says the message.
By now, the open burning has been eliminated. According to the department, the area of the fire was 130 square meters. m, 25 firefighters and volunteers were involved in extinguishing it. There were no injuries as a result of the fire.
