We are talking about not taking the oath of Russian citizenship.
“On November 22, 2024, the deadline for taking the oath of citizenship of the Russian Federation expires… From November 23, 2024, such persons will be considered not to have acquired Russian citizenship and decisions on their admission to Russian citizenship to be invalid”, – confirmed the department.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs also clarified that we are talking about people who received Russian citizenship in the period before September 1, 2017.
