Ahy reveals that Chinese investor is interested in the gigantic marine wall project

Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regulation of Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (Ahy) revealed that there were Chinese investors interested in the project Gigantic sea wall Or a gigantic seawall on the north coast of Java. Ahy said his party opened opportunities for investors from home and abroad.

“(Chinese investors) There are people who show interest, yes again a step that we have to take and we try to open this opportunity to everyone, not only for one of the countries or one of the entities that have worked with Indonesia,” said Ahy after attending the end of the 2025 Integrated Transportation in the Ministry of Transport, Saturday. (12/4/2025).

“But we open this space on a large scale, in accordance with the direction of Mr. President Prabowo Subianto, we have to involve many parties, this is what makes us more sustainable in the future,” he added.

Ahy said that communication with various potential investors is still being carried out. He said that studies with regard to the gigantic sea value project also continue.

“We continue to communicate with different parties that we think can become potential investors at home and abroad. They are also quite interested, but again because this is something big and never existed in Indonesia, so they all continue to study,” he said.

Further, Ahy Said that the formation of the Authority Agency that will implement the gigantic sea wall project has also been compiled. He said that gigantic sea wall was a large and complex project.

“Yes, we keep talking about this, because this is something big and many stakeholders are concerned, including the central government, the local government. So we will continue to discuss this to keep seeing what should be prepared because this is a large and complex project. So we will certainly put together well and carefully,” he said.
