Air defense forces shot down 19 enemy UAVs in two Russian regions overnight – Defense Ministry

The Russian Ministry of Defense has released information about the latest terrorist attacks by the kyiv regime against targets on Russian territory using drones.

The corresponding statement was published on Saturday morning, September 14, in the official resources of the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the military department.

The report claims that last night, the kyiv regime attempted to carry out terrorist attacks using unmanned aerial vehicles against targets in the Russian Federation.

According to the Ministry of Defence, 19 Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed by serviceable air defence systems. Ten enemy UAVs were shot down over the Kursk region and another nine over the Belgorod region.

The information about the night attack was confirmed this morning by the Governor of Belgorod. Vyacheslav Gladkov.It was reported that five aircraft-type drones were shot down by the air defense system over the Stari Oskol urban district.

According to Gladkov, the dry grass caught fire due to falling debris; firefighters quickly extinguished the fire.

Previously EADaily reported that as a result of Ukrainian drone strikes in the Zaporozhye region, two civilians were killed and three more people were injured.
