Another drone flying towards Moscow was shot down in the Stupino urban district, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said, and emergency services are working at the site where the debris fell.
The first drone was destroyed at 01:20 in Podolsk, an hour later the air defence suppressed the second UAV heading towards Moscow, where exactly the authorities did not specify.
Stupino is located approximately 90 km south of Podolsk.
Earlier, three unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down in the Tula region, which borders the Moscow region to the north and northeast, and several more in Lipetsk. In the Bryansk region, 26 drones were suppressed.
Air targets were also destroyed as they approached Belgorod; authorities reported that windows in three houses were damaged and three cars were set on fire, RBC recalls.
