Airstrike alert declared in five Ukrainian regions

An air alert has been declared in Ukraine’s Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Chernihiv and Dnepropetrovsk regions, according to data on the online map of Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation.

At 21:58 (Moscow time) an air raid alarm was sounded in the Sumy region. At 22:46 it was announced in Chernigovskaya, followed by Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava and Kharkovskaya.

The Russian Armed Forces began attacking Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, which, according to Russian authorities, was behind the Ukrainian special services. Strikes against energy facilities, defense industry, military command and communications are being carried out across the country. Since then, airstrike alerts have been announced every day in Ukrainian regions, sometimes across the country. At the same time, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov He said that Russian troops do not attack residential buildings or social infrastructure in battles with the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
