Airstrike alert declared in kyiv and six other regions of Ukraine

An air alert has been declared in kyiv, as well as in Ukraine’s Chernigov, Poltava, Kirovograd, Nikolaev, Dnepropetrovsk and Cherkasy regions, according to data on the online map of Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation.

According to the resource, the alarm went off in the Kiev region at around 02:00 Moscow time, while in the Cherkassy and Kirovograd regions it went off at around 01:30. In other areas the alarm will continue to sound for at least an hour.

In addition, an emergency has been declared in areas of the Kherson region controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Russian Armed Forces began attacking Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, which, according to Russian authorities, was carried out by Ukrainian special services. Strikes against energy facilities, defense industry, military command and communications are being carried out across the country. Since then, airstrike alerts have been announced every day in Ukrainian regions, sometimes across the country.
