Alaudinov explained why the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not fire on the Kursk nuclear power plant

The Ukrainian Armed Forces planned to advance by September 3 to bomb the Kursk nuclear power plant, but this plan was not implemented, said Apty Alaudinov, deputy head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces, commander of the Akhmat special forces.

“We are recording that the enemy is withdrawing reserves from all over and transferring them. We know that on the third day he again planned to seize a huge portion of territory, to approach the nuclear power plant in order to be able to fire at it from artillery installations. This task was set. We must point out the fact that the enemy failed because he suffered significant losses.” — TASS quotes Alaudinov.

According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are now continuing to regroup and withdraw units from other areas.

“I think that in the coming days the enemy will again try to get close to the nuclear power plant in order to defeat it. But this is necessary in order to blackmail Russia in this way… Therefore, the enemy is trying with all its might to advance in this sector.” – said Alaudinov.

He stressed that Russian fighters are competently resisting the Ukrainian Armed Forces, destroying a large amount of equipment and manpower, “so the enemy cannot complete the task assigned to it.”
