Bad news for the pockets of residents of Alcorcón, the large dormitory town near Madrid governed by the PSOE where tens of thousands of middle-class families live. THE new waste rate established by Law 7/2022 on Waste and Contaminated Soils for a Circular Economy, implies that municipalities must pass on the entire cost of the garbage collection service to taxpayers. Until now, there was no garbage tax in Alcorcón.
