Former footballer Alessandro Del Piero could run for the position of president of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC).
Oku.Az reports that the new presidential elections are scheduled for February 3, 2025.
Del Piero, who turned 50 on November 9 this year, ended his career in 2015. The forward’s last club was Delhi “Dynamo” of India. Alessandro was a six-time national champion and Champions League winner with Juventus. Together with the Italian national team, the striker won the gold medal at the 2006 World Championship.
