Alex Palou continues to expand its own legend. This Sunday, the one from Sant Antoni de Vilamajor was proclaimed triple champion of the IndyCar in Nashville.
The pilot of Chip Ganassi He tied for his third title after taking a lead of more than 30 points over Colton Herta and Scott McLaughlin.
And the day didn’t start well for Palou. He left from 24th place after a bad Saturday and a penalty for engine change, but manages to move up to eleventh place.
Alex, once again, was the most consistent driver in the championship with two notable victories in Indianapolis and Laguna Seca.
Now, the Catalan is already looking forward to 2025 with the hope of revalidating his ring.
“I want to be here again next year and I want to be at this press conference again with another ring. I’m very hungry and I think it’s not going to stop growing” he noted after the meeting in Nashville.
