Alexandre Léauté wins the title again, Heïdi Gaugain and Florian Jouanny also win medals in road cycling

Welcome to this live broadcast dedicated to the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

What is the program for the day? The first Tricolors to compete on Wednesday will meet in the road race at 8 a.m. After their pursuit duel, Marie Patouillet and Heïdi Gaugain will face off in the individual time trial (C5). Alexandre Léauté will take the start of the individual time trial in the C2 category at 8:27 a.m.

From 9:00 a.m., fencers Clémence Delavoipière and Brianna Vide will compete in the foil tournament (category A) under the nave of the Grand Palais.

Starting at 9:30 a.m., three French athletes will take to the water to try to qualify for the swimming final later in the day. Kylian Portal will compete in the 100m freestyle (S12) at 9:30 a.m., followed by Léane Morceau in the same distance (9:37 a.m.), then Assya Maurin-Espiau in the 200m medley (SM14) at 9:00 a.m. 54 a.m.

In table tennis, the Bleus will also have a series of matches, starting with Maxime Thomas, who will play his quarter-final in the MS4 category at 10 a.m. Morgen Caillaud (10:45 a.m.), Flora Vautier (11:30 a.m.), Lucas Didier (1:00 p.m.), Lucas Creange (5:00 p.m.) and Clément Berthier (7:00 p.m.) will also be playing for a place in the final four, and therefore a guaranteed medal. Fabien Lamirault will play his semi-final (MS2) at 5 p.m.

In para-equestrian events, Alexia Pittier and Vladimir Vinchon will be on the cards at 10am, followed by Lisa Cez at 12.55pm. At noon, Alex Adelaïde will compete in the men’s para-weightlifting (under 49kg) final, while Axel Bourlon will compete in the -54kg final (6.35pm), while Tanguy de La Forest will return with rifle in the mixed prone (SH2) qualifying event alongside Justine Bève (12.30pm). At 3.27pm, Guillaume Toucoullet will compete in his round of 16 in archery.

Finally, the athletics evening will be led by Dimitri Pavadé in the long jump (T64) at 20:29 and Mandy François-Elie in the 100 m (T37) at 21:45.
