The Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, met with the President of the Republic of the Congo, Denis Sasso-Nguesso, within the framework of the opening ceremony of the Leaders’ Summit of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) held in Baku on November 12.

It was reported that the meeting examined opportunities for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Congo in several areas of mutual interest.

At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the level of bilateral political relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt, the current state of relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt was discussed, as well as the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
