On November 19, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, met with the Regional Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) for Europe, Hans Klüge.

The meeting highlighted the importance of the ongoing COP29 in Baku and noted that several measures related to reducing the health effects of climate change were carried out within the conference.
Satisfaction was expressed with the level of effective cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Health Organization, it was highlighted that the programs and projects implemented in the field of health in our country coincide with the priority directions of the WHO and the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN. .
During the conversation, prospects for cooperation in various fields of healthcare were discussed, including reducing the effects of climate change on human health.
