“Like our people, I am also happy that as a result of the efforts of Mr. President and the brave Azerbaijani army, our lands have been liberated from occupation. This is the first extraordinary parliamentary election held after the liberation of our lands from occupation. It is a historic event that for the first time parliamentary elections are being held in all territories of Azerbaijan.”
Oku.Az Prime Minister Ali Asadov, who exercised the right to vote in the extraordinary parliamentary elections, reportedly expressed these views in his statement to journalists. He continued his remarks as follows:
“The electoral process is taking place in all the territories of Azerbaijan, we are very happy about it. I wish success to the 125 deputies, who will be trusted by our people. The parliament has unparalleled services in the administration of our state, the formation of legislation and the adoption of our laws.”
