THE Commonwealth of Pamplona Region took all the containers of the Landaben polygon. It is a decision made by the president of the common entity, David Campioncame to power led by Pictures and supported by PSOE of Navarre.

It’s a pilot experience with a view to its implementation in all Navarre polygonsthat is to say that from now on, the companies located in the polygon will no longer recycle in Commonwealth containers, but in some special containers which were provided to the companies, so that it is possible to control which companies are the most waste generate and those who do not recycle.

As they explained, after the implementation of different waste collection systems In urban and rural areas, the Commonwealth of Pamplona Region has reconsidered the collection in the industrial areas of the Region and, for this, began this pilot experience.

He Landaben polygon He was chosen for his commitment to sustainability and the desire to collaboration which since last year has shown the “Landaben Business Association – ASELAN“.

According to the association, “the system that exists until now with containers on the streets of industrial areas has proven to be ineffective for the collection of waste, since it has encouraged these points to become, on several occasions, a space of waste collection. spread industrial waste, rubble, bulky materials and other inappropriate materials and dangerous“.

For this reason, “after studying other initiatives in different cities”, the Commonwealth designed “a new collection system” which is today applied in the industrial zone of Landaben and which includes the withdrawal of all containers on the street.

Likewise, it was delivered to all companies cubes And containers for the collection of all types of domestic waste generated.

These buckets and containers must be located inside businesses and will only be taken outside for collection on the day of the week and time indicated for each type of residue.

With this measure, the Commonwealth ensures that work will be done on the evolution of the billing towards him payment per generation depending on the use that each company makes of the new collection service.

Before implementing the new system, the CCM was in contact with the 140 companies of the polygon and visits were organized to explain the project and listen to suggestions. Specialist Commonwealth staff support them with everything necessary to successfully complete the transition towards a more efficient and sustainable polygon in waste management.

Over the past week, the Commonwealth has delivered the buckets and containers that staff waste inspection assigned to each company based on information provided by the companies themselves.

Likewise, the CCM activated a space in your Web page which includes different materials created for this campaign: information brochure, collection schedulesinformation about container rental and the conditions of collection, posters And frequently asked questions.

As explained David Campion in this morning’s presentation, once the results of this first experiment and the necessary adjustmentsthe progressive implementation of this collection system will continue in the various polygons of the Region which cover approximately 4,000 companies.
