The writer Paloma Sánchez-Garnica (Madrid, 1962) was the winner of this 2024 edition of the Planeta Prize with her work entitled Victory. The author was already a finalist for Planet of the Year 2021 with the novel Last days in Berlin. In 2014 he published The sonata of silence, of which an adaptation was made for a series in FTE which marked her consecration as a writer of great literary personality.

A work presented with the title children of angerfeaturing brothers piecing together their family history in Stalin’s Russia, the Spanish Civil War and Nazi Germany, i.e. the Europe of totalitarianism.
