“Tenants will have to pay a price which does not currently exist in the city of Madrid and which will make rentals more expensive,” declared the municipal councilor this Wednesday in front of journalists at a police station in Arganzuela, where he attacked the “housing policy”. of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez.
In this sense, he insisted on the fact that the pressure on Madrid residents will be less in 2025 than in 2019 despite these rates and indicated that studying a tax cut this allows, even partially, to be able to alleviate “the burden which presents itself in the form of a tax on garbage”.
“The Treasury Department is finalizing tax orders which I hope will be we will be able to present in the next week or two weeks and, from there, the message to Madrilenians is that this is a big deal and that it will indeed make rents in Madrid more expensive, even more than they already are thanks to the policies of Pedro Sánchez.” he warned.
He also mentioned Más Madrid, which he criticized for “not caring” about this waste rate and the fact that it could affect rental prices.
“The law approved by the Spanish government was quite sloppy in terms of determining the garbage tariff. In fact, if you ask the different municipalities, each of us adopted different methods to calculate the garbage tariff,” a- he pointed out. criticizing that it is a “whim” of Sánchez.
