A lawsuit has been filed against the singer Alsou by a St. Petersburg company that produces various equipment. The lawsuit for intellectual rights was filed in court on November 11 of this year, the KP.ru portal reports with reference to data from the file of arbitration cases.
“The plaintiff is the company “ActiveTestGroup”, the defendant is Alsou Abramova, the third party is the Federal Service for Intellectual Property”, – says the publication.
At the same time, the company itself refused to comment on the filing of the claim.
Presumably, the lawsuit may be related to trademarks.
The publication does not rule out that “a St. Petersburg company recently submitted an application to register the Alsou trademark for an ultrasonic measuring unit. At the same time, two “Alsu” trademarks are registered for the singer. Apparently, the company wants the artist to share her name.”
As reported EADailyAt the end of September it was learned that the singer Liubov Uspenskaya won a legal dispute with the People’s Artist of Russia Philip Kirkorov on the protection of honor, dignity and business reputation.
