In the resolution, the AEDP concludes that the MEP committed a violation of article 5.1.c of the General Data Protection Regulation and that he did not respect the obligation that the personal data of the minor be “adequate, relevant and limited what is necessary in view of the purposes for which they are processed”, which is called the principle of “data minimization”, as explained by the Europa Press agency.
