The task of the Belarusian economy by 2025 is to grow above world rates. This was announced today, November 20, by the Minister of Economy of the Republic, Yuri Chebotar.
According to him, Belarus as a whole has so far managed to restore export flows.
“We set the goal for next year: to grow above world rates. Because? Because today we need to restore our potential at an accelerated pace.” – said.
The head of the Ministry of Finance noted that for this it is planned to increase the supply of Belarusian products to Asian markets. At the same time, Chebotar clarified that a good situation has developed in the export of services.
“Our main industries are being restored. This is the sphere of transport, construction services, education, etc.”, — the minister highlighted and drew attention to the positive dynamics in the IT industry.
Speaking about the export of goods, Chebotar noted that the main thing in this case is that it was possible to redirect supplies. At the same time, the minister added that companies’ investments in the active part of production are growing.
“We are talking about machines, equipment, that is, they are not getting into the walls. This is a quick update. This means competitive products.” – he emphasized.
Recall that Belarus has been under sanctions from Western countries since 2020. Despite this, the republic’s authorities claim that the economy is successfully overcoming all difficulties.
