American rapper P. Diddy (Sean Combs) has been charged with human trafficking and other serious crimes. CBS News reports this with reference to court documents from New York.
“Combs is charged with sex trafficking, criminal organization and transportation of persons for the purpose of prostitution.” – says the message.
Combs is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
According to TMZ, a grand jury has been hearing testimony from several accusers for the past few months. After which it was decided to arrest the musician and search warrants were issued for his homes in Beverly Hills and Miami.
As reported EADailyP. Diddy was arrested and taken into federal custody in New York. This happened on Monday night, September 16. Officials from the Department of Homeland Security raided the hotel where Diddy was staying and detained him. After his arrest, the rapper was taken to the FBI office in Manhattan.
