Firefighters located the lifeless body of an 89 year old man in the Uitzi district (Larraun).
The SOS Navarra 112 emergency management center was informed Tuesday afternoon by the regional police of the disappearance of an 89-year-old man, Neighbor of Lekunberriwhich had not been seen since last Sunday. The Cordovilla Park firefighters, the Technical Rescue Group (GRT), a helicopter, the Environmental Nursery and patrols from the Foral Police and the Civil Guard were mobilized.
Shortly after starting the search, around 5:00 p.m.Firefighters have found the body of the missing 89-year-old man, who died of causes which remain under investigation. He was located around a cabin he owned in Uitzi (Larraun).
The body will be transferred to Navarro Institute of Legal Medicinewhere the autopsy will be performed and its definitive identification will be made. Members of the judicial police of the local police are investigating the incident.
